Pirate Nail Art Challenge - Oceans


Avast, Fireflies!

Today's challenge be taking ye to the depths of Davey Jones' Locker! If yer lucky enough to be a pirate, ye be spending fair time with that crafty lady sea.

I did a gradient to represent the different layers of the ocean, and I fell in love with this gorgeous teal from the now-defunct Kelara Lacquers, Seaside.

The ocean gets deeper with the gorgeous cobalt blue with soft flakies that is A Rhyming Dictionary Crooked Magician.

The waves sparkle with sunlight.. and glitter.. from Girly Bits Wet Bikini. 


Yeah, I know that Sea Creatures was yesterday, but aren't these glitter dolphins cute?

      I bought it from a Canadian Etsy shop called The Sparkle Shop. I also got my Princess Octopus charm there, and a few others.

      One of the things I love living here in Florida, is the chance to see them in many of our waterways. They are majestic.

      Ellagee has a line of dolphin polishes. From the swatches I've seen, they look to fit the nail better.

      I couldn't believe how much prettier they were on the nail than they were in the bottles. I love blue polish.

      I'd love to do that! Someday. I swam with Manta Rays once, and that was pretty cool. I wonder if anyone makes Manta Ray glitter?
