How Can You Ignore A Dragon?
Hello, Fireflies!
Today's Golden Oldie challenge is to wear a polish that's been ignored for too long.
Enchanted Polish Dragon Spit was probably the first EP I bought. I had no idea how popular the brand would become, or that this polish would appreciate in value so much.
I'm sure there are other polishes out there now that can approximate this one, but I'd forgotten how gorgeous this particular polish was. Such a fiery reddish-orange. And, I admit, I love the name.
Is there a polish or a makeup item in your kit that's been ignored for too long? What are you thinking about digging out of your stash? If you take a pix, I'd love for you to share it on my Facebook wall!
What a pretty sparkly holo red!
ReplyDeleteThis is one Enchanted Polish that I think does deserve its inflated resale value! lol
DeleteThis is such a beauty!
ReplyDeleteI dug out one of the first polishes I bought when my big polish interest started about three years ago.
You picked a beautiful purple, and I love that you were able to save the watermarble and use it as an accent!
DeleteThis is a beautfiul red holo! I have so many polishes among my untrieds, it's shameful!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou and me, both, girl. I have drawers full... and I keep finding new ones I want! It's an addiction.
DeleteIt looks really pretty. I love holos!
ReplyDeleteI love holos, too. Reds are so hard to capture!
DeleteWhat a silly name, and a truly gorgeous color!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me think of the silly dragons in that animated movie, How To Train Your Dragon! lol
DeleteOoh that is a gorgeous red!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I felt like a million bucks!
DeleteLoving this color. It looks gorgeous on you.
ReplyDeletethanks! I do love the jewel tones on me, for sure!
DeleteBeautiful color and yes I have waaay too many polishes that are beautiful yet forgotten.
ReplyDeleteI started to keep a few to the side that are my 'favorites' to remind me to use them again. Problem is, there are getting to be too many 'favorites'!
DeleteIt's so beautiful
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty shade!!
ReplyDeleteI think I've seen your hair a fiery red-orange, too, yes? If not, I think it would look fab on you. Why has no one made a holo hair color yet?
Deletethat would be the type of shade I would choose for my toes. I love it.
ReplyDeleteSeeing how we both live in warm areas, I know that being on your toes means it would still be seen - because this polish is too beautiful to hide in shoes! lol
DeleteI need to explore more indie nail brands- they always have the prettiest polishes!
ReplyDeleteMainstream brands are catching up with some of the glitter trends, but they haven't really done much with holos lately or flakies. Some of the most unique polishes I own are Indies, for sure. For the uninitiated, I recommend starting with Girly Bits and KBShimmer - they have some of everything, and have been around long enough to be stable.
DeleteYou always show me the best holos
ReplyDeleteOnly the best for you, babe! lol
DeleteLove that polish! I need it for real!
ReplyDeleteBe prepared to go on the hunt, and pay through the nose. I've heard tales of this polish going for upwards of $100, sometimes over $200.
DeleteThat red! Simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's done right, there are few polishes more spectacular than a red holo.
DeleteThat red is fabulous! To answer your question, yeah I do have some makeups that were unintentionally ignored. Shame, shame, shame!
ReplyDeleteSeeing what I have of your stash, that *is* a shame! I just want to roll around in your stash. Especially the lippies. I just want to hold a Tory Burch lippie. Just for a little while. I promise I'll give it back.
DeleteHa! I like that polishes name.
ReplyDeleteMe, too! It's why I bought it at the time, LOL.
DeleteThat's so pretty!!! And the name is unique and perfect for the color.
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too. The geek in me geeked out over it!
