Hello, Fireflies!

I have recently discovered these caterpillars I have over my eyes, and have been exploring lots of different ways to make them look and act more like proper eyebrows.  I haven't tried a lash enhancing serum before...but you know I love my serums! So, I was excited to try this Color Strokes Brow Tint & Lift from LashEM.

 I enjoy cosmetics that not only help me to look better, but that are also better for me, so I was glad to see that this product nourishes and conditions my brows with a peptide-infused, paraben-free formula.

The product is pretty easy to use - the applicator looks like many mascara wands.  This is the Brunette color, but it also comes in Blonde and Raven, too.

 You can do a one-stroke application with this, but I found that I got greater color coverage if I worked in the product by brushing my brows up, and then brushing them into place.  I was too lazy to use a separate spoolie for this, but then I did have to wipe a little excess color off my skin.  The good thing, is that while the product is still wet, it wipes off easily with a finger.  Once it sets, it takes a bit more - this stuff is seriously smudge-proof!

In my case, I have pretty full brows, but even where I had some gaps, this filled in the color.  What I loved about it is that it really held my brows in place.  If I touched my brows, I could feel the different texture - kind of like a good hairspray - but otherwise, I could just trust that my brows were set and not think about them anymore.

This is definitely for those that want a more natural brow look, though.  I wouldn't know how to get a more defined brow using this alone - but I bet it would work really well over a powder product, too.  The hold is pretty great.

It's becoming more apparent to me how important brows are to the whole look of your face! They frame everything, and the shape of them can really compliment your other features - or be a complete distraction!  I'm going to take better care of my brows, because without them, my expressions just wouldn't be the same!
