Gel-tastic skincare from OZ Naturals #facialmask #facialcleanser

Product provided for review.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

While you might be thinking, as I did, that OZ Naturals is from Australia, they're actually a US company based in Florida.  OZ is from the abbreviation for the unit of measurement the Ounce.  And, ounce for ounce, these products pack a lot of skin-loving punch.  I was fortunate enough to receive the Ocean Mineral Cleanser, the Amino Herbal Hydration Mask, and the Super Youth Eye Gel to review.

I love all things gel, and that's one thing all the skincare I tried from OZ Naturals have in common!

OZ Naturals Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser

The Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser ($23.49, on Amazon) has a slight sea-salt smell, and a nice lather, especially when I used it with my konjac sponge.  My oily skin felt clean, but not tight or stripped.  This cleanser is unique in that it doesn't just clean, but also nourishes the skin with minerals, rosehip oil, and vitamin E.  My skin loves Rosehip oil, and I often use it straight up as the last part of my skincare ritual.

This cruelty-free, natural, and organic cleanser is free from alcohol, parabens, and sulfates, and, though it worked really well on my oily skin, it's good for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

The Amino Herbal Hydration Mask ($21.99, on Amazon) is gentle enough to use every day, but my skin isn't that dry, so I preferred to use it once a week and use a clay mask once a week.

I love a good face mask, and though I usually use clay masks, I really enjoyed this aloe-based mask for a change of pace.  Especially because the weather has been so dry this winter, even here in Florida, the cooling, soothing mask felt good and didn't irritate my skin or make me break out.  Even oily skin needs moisturizing and hydration!
Unlike clay masks, this one is a clear gel! I applied it with a paddle foundation brush, but it's so clean and smooth, you could easily apply it with your fingers.  It has a very subtle herbal scent that I can't quite place, but it reminds me a little of rosemary.  There is no tingling with this mask, but it does tighten a little bit as it dries.

Usually, rich skin products make my skin break out, but this mask made my skin feel plumped and soft with no negative side effects.  The formula is 100% vegan, 72% organic, and cruelty-free, too!

Given my choice between an eye cream and an eye gel, I'll usually choose the gel.  They tend to be less rich, which is good for my oily skin.  They are also cooling, which helps with puffiness, which is my major eye concern.  I don't have a lot of pigmentation or wrinkling, but this formulation is Allure magazine's favorite for handling all those typical eye issues.  This Super Youth Eye Gel ($17.49, on Amazon) is chock full of good stuff, vegan, 72% organic, and free from parabens and sulfates.
Though it can be used all over the face, I prefer to use my eye gels around the eyes and around my lips.  Eye products are usually designed with the most sensitive skin in mind, and for soothing, hydrating, and affecting wrinkles, and I find that my lips also benefit a lot from the same properties!  I'm kinda vain about my lips, and I want them to stay full and soft as long as possible.
My nailart today is a simple homage to their logo.  A clean, white background with Sinful Colors Snow Me White, and the circle within a square painted with Sinful Colors Calypso, an emerald green.

With my oily and aging skin, I have to find a balance between products that nourish and hydrate, that have anti-aging properties, yet don't overwhelm my skin and cause breakouts.  I had really good results with these products from OZ Naturals! I also like that they are cruelty-free.  All of their products are vegan, and free from parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, lanolin, gluten, and GMOs.  They also have a relationship with the Natural Products Association Alliance and Wind & Solar Energy, so they are not only good for your skin, but are helping the environment.

For more information, or to purchase, you can find OZ Naturals on their website, Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon.com.
