"Manly" Retinol Serum #InstaNatural

Product provided for review.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

For many years, my husband wasn't really concerned with skincare.  Men's skin holds up better to the ravages of time because it's thicker, due to the hair follicles.  And, fortunately for them, our society thinks that men's wrinkles are distinguished.  Now that he's in his 40's, however, I'm starting to rub off on him, and he's willing and interested to try some of the products that he sees me slathering on my face.

My husband started going bald from the moment I met him, and yes, I do blame myself for that...  He usually wears hats outdoors, but often forgets to wear sunscreen, or take care of his bald pate.  I noticed that his scalp was overly oily, but dull, with lots of skin discoloration, and a lot of clogged pores.  I asked him if he'd be willing to try InstaNatural Age-defying Retinol Serum, to see if it could make a difference, and he agreed.
I like the packaging, but I think it really appealed to his aesthetic, too.  The black and grey does give it an edgier appearance.  The dark bottle also helps to protect the serum from light exposure, and the dropper makes it easy to dispense a small amount easily (though I personally prefer a pump for skincare.)

We both really like the serum itself, too.  It has an uplifting sweet orange smell that is common to InstaNatural products, and is one of my favorite skincare scents.  The serum itself is lightweight, and absorbs quickly.  It has lots of great ingredients in addition to the Retinol, like Aloe Vera, Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba, Argan oil, Green Tea, and Vitamin C.  It's also made in the USA, and is cruelty-free.
After a month, he still has some discoloration and oiliness, but his skin is no longer dull, and he has almost no blackheads on his scalp any more.  Being mostly bald does make him look older, but at least now his baldness is more The Rock, and less The Old Man.

My nailart is based on the cool wavy lines and grey gradient of the packaging.  I started with a base of A-England Jane Morris, and then used KBShimmer wavy nail vinyls.  Over the vinyls, I used Sally Hansen Somber Bliss near the cuticle, and then Wet 'n Wild Black Creme towards the tips.
