LeliaSea Luxe Lotion

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

A while back, I made an online friend who lives in Israel, and we had a cosmetics swap between us.  Among other things, she sent me a lotion made with Dead Sea Minerals, and it smelled so lovely and fresh.  It's long finished now, but it's still one of my favorite lotions ever.  I didn't think I'd ever find another Dead Sea lotion I liked as much - until now!

LeilaSea has been making Dead Sea mineral products for over 20 years, mostly carried and sold in luxury hotels.
I'm absolutely in love with the scent, and it just takes me right back to that Israeli Dead Sea lotion.  It smells like fresh salt water - light, and clean.  The texture is rich, but not heavy, and it absorbs quickly, with no greasy residue.

As someone who does a lot of nail art, I'm always looking at my hands, and this lotion helps me take care of them.  Aside from our faces, it's our hands that most prominently show our age - and I like having youthful, smooth hands!

I wanted to do a mani based on the clean, sharp lines of the packaging.  The base is A Study In Polish Moon Eternal, a white crelly with a subtle shimmer.  The silver is done with striping tape, and is Essie No Place Like Chrome.

I thought that the tube was white and silver, but it turns out that it's actually clear, and the lotion is white! At least then I'll be able to tell when I'm running low on this cream.  I have a mountain of lotion samples, but I keep reaching for this one.  When I'm ready to buy more lotion, I'd definitely consider repurchasing this one.

LeliaSea can be found on their website, Facebook, and Amazon, where this lotion currently is on sale for $9.95.
