Organically Clean Face! #amaraorganicscleanser #amaraorganicstoner

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

If there's one thing that I've learned since becoming a beauty blogger, it's that no matter what lotions and potions I put on, and no matter what kind of spackle and paint I layer over that, if I don't start with a clean face, I'm just not going to look or feel my best.  With this cleanser and toner from Amara Organics, I get a clean face, and a clean conscience, too!

I admit that I'm probably not going to give up meat or junk food anytime soon, but I do feel good about the small changes I can make - like bringing reusable grocery bags to the store, and using organic and cruelty-free products in my beauty routine.

Amara Organics prides itself on using the best vegan, natural, and organic ingredients, and not testing on animals.  Their products are all free from petrochemicals, parabens, artificial colors, Sodium lauryl/Laureth Sulfates, DMDM Hydantoin/Diazonial Urea, EDTA, TEA, DEA, or MEA, Phthalates. and Methylisothiazolinone.

First of all, I want to give a little shout-out to their packaging.  How many times have we all gotten a liquid product in the mail that had spilled?  I love that this cleanser came vacu-sealed, both for my protection, and that of other things in my order.

Amara Organics Vitamin C Cleanser is very gentle, and can be used every day.  It's fragrance-free, even though it has Tea Tree Oil in it, which I usually find to be overpowering.  This cleanser not only deep-cleans, it also helps to keep my blemishes at bay, and brightens with Vitamin C.  Aloe and plant oils heal and nourish the skin, too.

The cleanser foams a little bit, but not much.  I really like using it with my Foreo Luna or Michael Todd Soniclear because it spreads easily, but doesn't make a foamy mess.  I can also just use it with a washcloth or my hands, too.
Ever since I learned that using a toner doesn't mean drying out my skin, and it also helps increase the efficacy of my serums, I try to use one regularly.  I'm much more likely to use a spray-on toner than one I need cotton pads for, too! After washing my face, I don't even dry it off - I just wipe off the excess water with my hands, and then spray on the toner.  I know that when it's dry, I'm ready for my serums and moisturizers.
The glycolic acid in this toner helps to slough away the dead skin cells, and witch hazel tightens the pores.  I wish this toner smelled more like Neroli than Witch Hazel, if I had my druthers.  I much prefer a citrus smell to the medicinal one that Witch Hazel has.

My nailart today was inspired by the Amara Organics logo, though I wish I had realized I was painting it backwards.  Ooops.  I used Color Club Foil Me Once, a metallic pink, for the base coat and for the face, and Butter London Sozzled for the leaves, along with a white striper for detailing.

Amara Organics is not only working to be in harmony with nature, they want to be in harmony with their customers! They offer a no-risk, 365-day money-back guarantee, and you don't even have to return the bottle.  For more information, or to purchase, Amara Organics can be found on their webpage (click here for the Vitamin C Facial Cleanser, or here for the Balancing Toner), Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or on Amazon, where the cleanser currently retails for $17.95, and the toner also retails for $17.95.

Have you tried organic skincare?  Do you like it to have a fragrance or smell like the ingredients?
