I've written about my love of essential oils before, and I've always just used them in a little oil warmer that I have. I thought that was the way to do it.
Oh, have I been missing out. That way was like the Ford Fiesta way of enjoying aromatherapy. The Aroma Zzar is the Cadillac way.
The Aroma Zzar Aroma Therapy Essential Oil Diffuser provides a multi-sensory therapy experience. In addition to the mist, there is an optional light show, and/or nature sounds or you can plug in your own mp3 player.
The diffuser is elegant and simple in design. The base is heavy, with a wood grain, and a few buttons. The frosted glass cover comes off to expose the water well. There is a plastic measuring cup included to help you fill the well, and a cap to direct the mist out the center of the cover.
If you just add water, it becomes a little humidifier. I like to add a few drops of essential oil to scent the room. I've also found that by adding some peppermint oil, my husband's sinuses will often clear up!
By pressing the Aroma button once, the mist will start and run until it is emptied of water. By pressing the button multiple times, it cycles through an 8-, 3-, or 1-hour intermittent cycle.
My husband prefers to run the diffuser without the light, but I think it's so pretty. If you push the light button once, it cycles through a myriad of colors. Pressing the button again will stop the cycle at the color you've selected, if you prefer just one color. Pressing again will turn off the lights.
If you want sound, pressing the music note button will turn on nature sounds, such as a waterfall, or bird noises. There is also a cable included if you want to plug in your own mood music.
I have my Aroma Zzar sitting up on top of some organizer drawers in our home office. I like how I can actually see the mist when it's working.
For more information, or to purchase, you can find Aroma Zzar on their website, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube, and on Amazon, where this diffuser currently retails for $69.95.
