Natural Blemish Control Moisturizer #Cloud9BlemishControl

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

Like a magpie to shiny, if a product claims to control blemishes without drying out my aging skin, I'm all over that.  I love natural products that nourish and protect my face, while regulating my oil control and zapping zits.  Will I be on Cloud 9 after using this moisturizer?

Cloud 9 Blemish Control Moisturizer fights breakouts, promotes healing of marks, nurtures and balances oily skin, and protects against inflammation and free-radical damage.  Developed with dermatologists, it works against the 4 known causes of breakouts:  hormonal triggers, bacteria, excess oil and sebum, and vitamin f deficiency.

The ingredient list is full of great plant oils and glycerin to hold moisture in the skin and impart fatty acids, green tea extract for anti-oxidants, and hyaluronic acid, which helps the skin retain moisture and plumps it up, smoothing out fine lines.
The moisturizer is a floral-scented, peach-colored liquid, which goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly.  It does make my skin feel soft, and I have confidence in all the great, natural ingredients.

I noticed, however, that my skin would become abnormally oily every evening after I started using this moisturizer.  I would end up having to wash my face more often, because the oil production was excessive.  I did break out - and if you read my review on the Reviva skin products, you could see the angry blemish I developed.

Everyone's skin is a little different, of course, and it may be that the stress of the season has affected my hormones and body chemistry.  Also, I know that very rich products do tend to break me out.  This may work better for people with drier skin, or more sensitive skin than myself. I may try this as a spot treatment instead of an all-over face moisturizer, as well.

Nailart inspired by the Cloud9 packaging.  The bases is Sally Hansen Salon Hello Sunshine, and the yellow swirls are Zoya Pippa.  The white reflection is Sinful Colors Snow Me White, and the waves are done with CoverGirl Out Of The Blue with highlights of Ulta Peppermint.

For more information, or to purchase, you can find Cloud9 on their website, and on Amazon, where it currently is on sale for $9.99.

Has the stress of the holiday season affected your skin?
