Energize My Eyes #RevivaLabs

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

Every year around the holidays, I tell myself that I'm going to take it easier, not stress, not try to do it all.  Some holidays I make it, and some I don't.  This year, I'm feeling the stress.  So, I'm trying to take some time to take care of me and my skin, including trying this new eye kit from Reviva Labs  - Myoxinal-Infused Collagen Fibre Eye Pads with Skin Energizing Gel.  It can't turn back time (only Cher can do that, y'all!) but can it help energize my eyes?

There are three main components to this kit:  the collagen that the pads are made of, the hibiscus extract in the pads, and the energizing gel.  Together, they have an immediate tightening effect on the skin, and can improve texture and coloration over time.
Collagen is the ingredient in skin that provides thickness to the skin.  As we age, our skin loses the ability to produce collagen as quickly as it once did.  Our skin becomes thinner, saggy, crepey.  Thin skin under the eye also shows blood vessels more readily, which leads to the appearance of dark circles under the eye.

Adding collagen to the area under the eye smooths and plumps the skin.  The Myoxinal relaxes the muscles, which helps reduce the look of wrinkles in the short-term, and helps the collagen work more effectively over the long-term.
I've seen 'serum-boosters' come out over the last few years, but they've all been by Prestige brands ($$$).  I'm pretty excited by the release of this one from Reviva Labs.  It's made with a special species of Hawaiian seaweed that helps any topical absorb better and deeper!
This is such an easy treatment to do - and it takes only 15-20 minutes.  The pads stay in place under my eyes, and I even found that that I could even use my glasses with this treatment, and they didn't get all messy!  I definitely enjoy resting during my pampering sessions, but this one is also good for those who have to get their treatments on the go-go-go.
I wanted to show you what the pad looks like when you just put it on over the Energizing Gel (white) and how it turns translucent and clings to the skin - almost like rice paper, but more substantial, when it's moistened.  They definitely stick in place.
The skin feels immediately tighter when the pads are dry.  It's hard to see much difference in these before and after pictures, but where I noticed the most difference is actually where I made a mistake in placing the pad! If you see on the eye on your right, I only half-way covered the worst of my eye-bag.  In the bottom, close-up of that eye, you can see where that part is flatter than the section I didn't cover with the pad.
The kit contains enough pads for 4 treatments, but the gel will last for many more.  Try it with your expensive serums to get more bang for your buck!

I did one treatment right before a holiday party, and it was the best accompaniment to my glittery eyeshadow.  My eyes were bright and sparkling the whole night long.  I'm going to use my last treatment for a little boost right before I go visit my family for the holidays.  After I get there...well, there will be booze.  I hope.

Some funky nailart inspired by the Eye Pad Kit packaging.  The teal green and flakies are a set from 2B, with a funky french of KBShimmer Let's Not Coral and a black striper.

If you'd like more information or to purchase, please check out their Facebook page, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube, or their website, where Reviva Labs Myoxinol Infused Collagen-Fibre Eye Pad Kit retails for $38.

Have you tried a serum booster before? Have you paired it with an eye treatment?
