Jaylie Anti-Aging #JaylieHA

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

Have you gotten on the Hyaluronic Acid bandwagon yet?  This is one ingredient I never want my skincare to be without again.  This serum from Jaylie has it, and a few other ingredients that make it a contender in the fight against older-looking skin.

After water, the next two ingredients in this serum are Sodium Hyaluronate and Aloe Barbadensis Juice (Aloe Vera), two of my very favorite skincare ingredients.  Hyaluronic Acid can hold a 1000 times it's weight in water, which makes the skin plump up and smooth out.  Aloe Vera is a miracle healing gel in my opinion! It soothes any kind of skin irritation, from bug bites to sunburn, and helps heal damaged skin. This serum also has lots of other great ingredients, like Vitamin C, for brightening and fighting free-radicals, and Retinol, for anti-aging and smoothing out wrinkles.
Jaylie touts having a 'secret ingredient' of Lavender Oil in this serum, for it's anti-bacterial and anti-aging properties.  Paula's Choice isn't too keen on the idea of lavender oil in skincare - though it does have anti-bacterial properties that can help with acne and blemishes.  I don't find that the serum smells like lavender - it has a light, fresh, herbal scent to me.
I enjoyed using this serum on my oily skin.  It's almost clear, with the slightest yellow tint.  It has a thin gel consistency that applies smoothly and absorbs quickly.  I feel like I can layer the rest of my skincare over it and apply makeup without any trouble.  I like applying this to the backs of my hands, too.  I feel like my hands look more youthful, and the skin is plump with moisture after I use it.

I'm loving this Jaylie-inspired nailart!  The base is Revlon Tempting, with a matte topcoat.  Then, I stamped a swirly pattern using Finger Paints Black Expressionism and my UC 1-03 stamping plate.
If you're looking for a serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Retinol, and you're not sensitive to Lavender, you might enjoy this serum from Jaylie.  It's free from parabens and alcohol, and the Hyaluronic Acid is vegan.  It's made in the USA, and has a lifetime money-back guarantee!  For more information, or to purchase, you can find Jaylie on Amazon, where this serum currently retails for $11.99.
