OZ Naturals Retinol #OZNaturals

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

I remember when you could only get Retinol products via prescription.  The ones you can get over the counter are less potent, but they work well over time, and are more gentle.

This Retinol serum from OZ Naturals has an impressive 2.5 percent Retinol, along with other great ingredients like Astaxanthin, which activates collagen and elastin production for thicker, more elastic skin, and Hyaluronic Acid, which can hold 1000 times its weight in water, giving the skin a plump, smoother appearance.
This serum is 99.9% natural, 72% organic, cruelty-free, made the USA, and is free from alcohol, parabens, and sulfates.  It's safe for all skin types, but it is a wonder for mine and my husband's oily skin.  My preference for rotating serums is to use a Vitamin C one in the morning, and Retinol at night, as it can make your skin sensitive to the sun and cause hyperpigmentation.  Of course, we should all be using a sunscreen daily to help prevent this from happening.
OZ Naturals usually has great packaging, and this is no exception.  The dark amber bottle protects the serum from light, and the pump dispenses a small amount of the potent serum, while protecting it from air and contaminants.  The serum itself is a light orange/reddish color, but it doesn't stain or color the skin, and I can't detect any fragrance from it at all.

I feel that retinol makes a huge difference in the texture and clarity of my husband's bald pate, and he's been using this about every night.  It makes his head smoother, less oily, and eliminates dullness and patchy textures. I can tell right away when he forgets to use it for a few nights.

I did a little abstract negative-space art for this version of the OZ Naturals label.  The base is Deborah Lippmann Raspberry Beret, and I used a white polish to dab around the center, creating an outline of the tree in the center.  Squint, and turn your head to the side.  See it?
I've tried a lot of products from OZ Naturals, and with few exceptions, love all of them.  I feel good using them either alone or in conjunction with other OZ Natural products for a complete skin care regimen.  I recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, natural skincare line.

For more information, or to purchase, you can find OZ Naturals on their website, Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon.com.
