When it comes to washing my face, I have many choices - washcloths, spinning brushes, sonic brushes, facial wipes, and, one of my faves, the konjac sponge.  If you've been hiding under a beauty rock, konjac sponges are old-school asian tools that are the newest craze here in the USA.

I've been reviewing a lot of different konjac sponges lately, and this one is the last I have in the queue.  I've shown you round white ones, and round green ones, round black ones, pointed red ones, and today's is a pointed black one from Wonderpiel.

I've got another konjac sponge review today.  I can't help it.  Once I tried one, I wanted to try ALL the konjacs.  This one, from The Japanese Konjac Sponge is infused with Green Tea which gives it the subtle but distinct smell of matcha green tea, which I love.

My days of splashing water and a little soap on my face are pretty much behind me.  I want, nay, need a tool to help me get the best cleansing and exfoliation possible to leave those dulling old skin cells behind, but it has to be gentle enough not to mar this aging face of mine.  My no-tugging, cleaning, and exfoliating daily tool?  A konjac sponge.  This one from Oleavine takes konjac to a new level, with an infusion of red clay.

Have you heard about Konjac?  No, not the TV detective who always had a lollipop in his mouth.. (that's Kojak, and I'm *totally* dating myself.)  Konjac is a sponge made out of an Asian potato plant fiber, and it's a total game-changer.
