Foxbrim Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer #Foxbrim
Hello, Fireflies!
I never noticed before I started my blog, but I was a little bit of a brand snob. Not in that I always had to have prestige, brand-name products, but in that I tended to buy things with names I recognized - soups were Campbell's, tissues were Kleenex, and cotton swabs were Q-tips, etc.
So, when I got the opportunity to try this cream from FoxBrim, a brand I was unfamiliar with, I wasn't sure what to expect. I learned that sometimes, there's nothing inherent in a name.
First impressions - very nice packaging, with directions, ingredients, and - my favorite - a pump dispenser, to minimize exposure to bacteria and oxygen.
Foxbrim claims that there are only natural and organic ingredients in this cream, and I have to say that there are a lot of ingredients that I DO recognize, which I love to see in my skincare - aloe vera, jojoba oil, shea butter, green tea, vitamin E.. and it's paraben and cruelty-free, which I also like!
Here's the full list of ingredients (from Amazon.com): Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Sunflower oil, Palm oil, Pentylene glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, polysorbate 20, Potassium phosphate, Vitamin E, CassiaAngustifolia seed, polysaccharide, Glyceryl stearate, Cetyl alcohol, Stearic acid, Kosher vegetable glycertin, Organic jojoba oil, Green tea, Propolis, Shea butter, Vitamin b5, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl glycerin, Xanthan gum & Citric Acid.
Even though I didn't grow up with this brand on my drugstore shelves, I really like it! And, I'd buy it again. It's light, creamy, has a nearly undetectable smell, and it absorbs quickly. My skin didn't break out any more than usual, no irritation or redness, either.
I've even found myself putting this on my husband to moisturize his bald head and grizzled face. He won't use face products of his own accord, but he'll let me put this on him!
If you're looking for an anti-aging cream with retinol, maybe it's time to give the 'brand' names a break and try something new!
If you'd like more information about Foxbrim, they can be found on Facebook, their webpage, and on Amazon.com.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Nice review! This might be something that would be perfect for my mom since she's looking for a new day time moisturizer.
ReplyDeleteRetinol is definitely something us 'mature' gals can use in our skincare!
DeleteThe ingredients look great!
ReplyDeleteI may not be able to pronounce all the ingredients like I can in my Bryers ice cream, but at least I recognize most of them!
DeleteFabulous review! This sounds like something I'd try if I ever fell out of love with my current fave day moisturizer!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'd be honored if *I* ever enabled *you*! lol
Deleteha ha ha... I am so a skincare snob too. I have never heard of this brand, but it sounds pretty nice. I am liking the ingredients for sure and I like that it is creamy but absorbs. Great review!
ReplyDeleteI never knew what a snob I was! Ok, I'm still a snob when it comes to paper products. I will be down to my last dime before I buy no-name toilet paper.
DeleteI saw this brand but a different product on the Tomoson website last night. This product looks like something I would be interested in trying as a night cream because of the retinol.
ReplyDeleteI believe they have an eye cream and a toner, as well as some oils. I'd try more of their line, for sure.
DeleteI´ve never heard of this brand before, but this cream sounds like a good one.
ReplyDeleteI really think it has the markings of a prestige brand.
DeleteOhh I kind of want this, I have a skincare obsession!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm becoming obsessed! They're like Pokemon - gotta catch 'em all! lol
DeleteI've been very surprised with indie skincare brands, this sounds like a gem!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! Fusion of Color had a very nice cream, too.
DeleteThis sounds like a really good brand! I am a brand snob too, always buying name brand stuff haha
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I was surprised I liked it so much. The Amazon listing is so wordy, I thought it was going to be all talk - but it really feels great, and I like it.
DeleteThis sounds pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteI want to try their other products. I'm curious about their whole line, now.
Deletelooks like a promising product!!!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my face in a few years! lol.
DeleteGotta love those pump dispensers!
ReplyDeleteI wish all skincare companies knew that!
DeleteLove any skin care with a pump. This sounds fab!
ReplyDeleteMe, too. I even saved a lotion bottle with a pump and I keep refilling it. It's worth the effort!
DeleteThis product sounds really nice and I like its pump packaging :)
ReplyDeleteThe manufacturers of pumps are going to cite this blog post when they promote their products! lol
DeleteI love finding a new and good moisturizer!
ReplyDeleteWith my weird aging, yet oily skin, it's awesome to find a product that helps keep the wrinkles and sagging at bay, yet doesn't cause me to break out.
