Foxbrim Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer #Foxbrim

Hello, Fireflies!

I never noticed before I started my blog, but I was a little bit of a brand snob.  Not in that I always had to have prestige, brand-name products, but in that I tended to buy things with names I recognized  - soups were Campbell's, tissues were Kleenex, and cotton swabs were Q-tips, etc.

So, when I got the opportunity to try this cream from FoxBrim, a brand I was unfamiliar with, I wasn't sure what to expect.  I learned that sometimes, there's nothing inherent in a name.

First impressions - very nice packaging, with directions, ingredients, and - my favorite - a pump dispenser, to minimize exposure to bacteria and oxygen.

Foxbrim claims that there are only natural and organic ingredients in this cream, and I have to say that there are a lot of ingredients that I DO recognize, which I love to see in my skincare - aloe vera, jojoba oil, shea butter, green tea, vitamin E.. and it's paraben and cruelty-free, which I also like!

Here's the full list of ingredients (from Amazon.com): Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Sunflower oil, Palm oil, Pentylene glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, polysorbate 20, Potassium phosphate, Vitamin E, CassiaAngustifolia seed, polysaccharide, Glyceryl stearate, Cetyl alcohol, Stearic acid, Kosher vegetable glycertin, Organic jojoba oil, Green tea, Propolis, Shea butter, Vitamin b5, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl glycerin, Xanthan gum & Citric Acid.
Even though I didn't grow up with this brand on my drugstore shelves, I really like it! And, I'd buy it again.  It's light, creamy, has a nearly undetectable smell, and it absorbs quickly.  My skin didn't break out any more than usual, no irritation or redness, either.

I've even found myself putting this on my husband to moisturize his bald head and grizzled face.  He won't use face products of his own accord, but he'll let me put this on him!

If you're looking for an anti-aging cream with retinol, maybe it's time to give the 'brand' names a break and try something new!

If you'd like more information about Foxbrim, they can be found on Facebook, their webpage, and on Amazon.com.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

    1. I never knew what a snob I was! Ok, I'm still a snob when it comes to paper products. I will be down to my last dime before I buy no-name toilet paper.

  5. I saw this brand but a different product on the Tomoson website last night. This product looks like something I would be interested in trying as a night cream because of the retinol.

    1. I believe they have an eye cream and a toner, as well as some oils. I'd try more of their line, for sure.

    1. To be honest, I was surprised I liked it so much. The Amazon listing is so wordy, I thought it was going to be all talk - but it really feels great, and I like it.

    1. With my weird aging, yet oily skin, it's awesome to find a product that helps keep the wrinkles and sagging at bay, yet doesn't cause me to break out.
