Natural Moisturizers from Naprodis, Oblige by Nature, and Safe Organic Skincare

Product provided for review. All opinions are my own.
 Hello, Fireflies!

A while ago, I reviewed this French Rose Clay mask from Oblige by Nature.  Their parent company, Naprodis, also sent me some really interesting moisturizers to try out.  One I loved, one was different from anything I'd ever tried, and one didn't work out for me, but for a weird reason.

Let's start with the weird one, the Oblige by Nature Premium Facial Fluid Moisturizer .  I love trying new things, and this moisturizer is definitely out of the box for me.  It's pretty cool.

I'd never used a dual-phase, combination toner/moisturizer before.  This pocket-sized, travel-friendly spray can be used anytime, though it was a little oily for me to use over makeup. After shaking the bottle to incoporate the oil and water phases, you can spray the mixture into your hand, or, like I did, directly on the face.  It takes a few moments to pat in, and then it is absorbed.

You can use this to replace a toner, you can use this to help break down a moisturizer so that it absorbs deeper, or, you can use this by itself.  I really enjoyed this new experience.  The spray bottle keeps the ingredients safe from contamination, and makes it really easy to spread on the skin.  It absorbs easily, and my skin felt soft after using it.

It has an earthy smell that reminds me of some of the rare face oils I've recently tried, like Manuka.  The floral hydrolate (i.e. toner) doesn't give off a strong floral scent.  It's a very soothing, moisturizing formula that is full of great stuff, and is free from synthetic chemicals and fragrances, parabens, phtlalates, sulfates, and gluten.  It's 100% vegan, and cruelty-free.

The Oblige by Nature Premium Facial Fluid Moisturizer can be found on the Naprodis website, and retails for $29.95.

Though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I was happy to try the Oblige by Nature Moisturizing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin.

I found their explanation of why this should only be used as a day cream very interesting.  Apparently, waxes are added to many creams for texture and to protect the skin during the day.  While the skin is resting and regenerating at night, these waxes can clog pores and interfere with that process, so they only recommend this cream for the day time.

I asked my husband to test this cream for me, because I didn't care for the scent.  I'm pretty sure it was a chemical thing, because when he smelled it, he said it was floral. When I smelled it, it was acrid, and kind of smoky.  It was the weirdest thing, but I'd had it happen before with a perfume that a lot of people loved, but smelled like Turpentine to me.  Oblige by Nature Moisturizing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin left his face so very smooth, which I loved.  He said he would have continued using the cream if I had liked the scent.  There are no chemical fragrances, so I'm not sure what it was.  Like the other moisturizer, this cream is chock full of good stuff, and free from sulfates and parabens, is vegan and cruelty-free.  It can be found on the Naprodis website and retails for $34.95.
This last cream battles the Oblige by Nature Premium Facial Fluid Moisturizer for my favorite.  I loved the spray and smell and feel of the Fluid Moisturizer.  This Jasmine Moisturizing Facial Cream by Safe Organic Skincare feels soft and smooth, and smells amazing.  AMAZING.  Like I want to bathe in it.  This needs to come in a large bottle with a pump.

This line was created by the founder's granddaughter, and made with the same tenets as the Oblige by Nature line.  Everything added is as natural, safe, and organic as possible.  There are so sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances or chemicals, and it's vegan and cruelty-free.  Jasmine Moisturizing Facial Cream by Safe Organic Skincare is available on their website, and retails for $22.95.

I created a little nailart homage to the packaging of the Jasmine Moisturizing Facial Cream by Safe Organic Skincare.  I loved the Tetris-style shapes, and the muted colors.  I used white for the base, and Revlon Sassy, Deborah Lippmann Honey Bee, Finger Paints Sketchy Character, and Butter London Shandy for the design.
