I am the girl with 15 different bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower, and more waiting in the wings. I love trying new haircare. And, it's great when I find a system that works so well with my thick, curly hair!
I am a big fan of the hair care system. When I use a shampoo, I want to use the corresponding conditioner. If I can get the hair treatment for my type of hair, I'll use that, too. I want the whole enchilada.
The Arvazallia Advanced Hair Repair Moisturizing Shampoo and Daily Conditioner are designed to work together. They both strengthen and restore dry, damaged hair using Argan and Macadamia oils. They are paraben and sulfate-free, and are safe for all kinds of hair, including keratin- and color-treated hair.
I found that the shampoo lathered nicely, but not overwhelmingly, which is something I know I don't need in a shampoo.. but I still like it. The conditioner had a lot of slip to it, and combed pretty easily through my hair - not an easy task - and not something I usually find in daily conditioner. They smelled nice, too.
Only one problem - size. I need a lot of product. I probably used several handfuls of each of these for one wash, and these aren't big bottles. Even though I only wash once every 5-7 days, it won't take me long to finish these bottles. Also, I need twice as much conditioner as I need shampoo, and at nearly $18 a bottle, it can get a little pricy.
Arvazallia Advanced Hair Repair Hydrating Argan Oil Mask is an intensely moisturizing mask that conditions, detangles, hydrates and revives hair. I absolutely love this product... but not as a mask. I used it as a mask, and it overwhelmed my hair, frankly. My hair was so silky, it was limp, and so heavy it had no bounce at all.
Where this product really shone for me was as a leave in conditioner - in small amounts. After washing and conditioning, and wringing out the excess water from my hair, I would take a small amount of this mask, warm it up in my hands, and spread it lightly on my ends and work up through the dryer parts of my hair. I had never been so happy with my hair. It bounced, it didn't frizz, it was soft.
When you have a lot of hair, getting it to defy gravity is a feat, but when your hair is healthy and feels good, well, you feel like anything is possible. So, I took my freshly Arvazallia'd hair, and tried a few new 'do's.
I think I'll go back to my regular hairstyle, thanks, though. I had fun, and I also enjoyed my homage nailart, too - the base is CoverGirl Inferno, a metallic red with gold shimmer. I did the French Tips with Maybelline Bold Gold, and used a white polish for the Arvazallia logo.
I admit, I have trouble pronouncing the name of this brand. Which is why I'm just going to hyperlink the URL where you can buy it from Amazon. The shampoo is currently on sale for $17.99 and can be found here, and the conditioner is also on sale for $17.99, and can be found here. The mask is on sale for $16.99, and can be found here. Or, you can buy the whole set for $49.95. Arvazallia can also be found on their website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
