Alll The Soap Scents You Never Knew You Needed! #Soapdotclub

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

One thing I have really enjoyed about blogging is finding out about 'normal' products that take it to the next level.  Like this Soap.Club soap. I've been a bar soap girl all my life.  I switch it up for shower gels and exfoliators, etc, all the time, but there is ALWAYS a bar of soap in my shower.  I am zipped back to my childhood home every time I smell a bar of Irish Spring or Zest soap!

If drugstore bar soap is the only stuff you've tried, you'll be surprised at the offerings of Soap.club!

Soap.club is a small, family-run business of soap aficionados and artisans.  They use natural ingredients and plant oils, using an old-fashioned cold process to make the soap. Every product is made by hand, starting from stirring the recipe, to hand-cutting and packaging the bars on the day they are shipped for optimal freshness.

It was really hard to choose just one soap scent to try! Currently, they have over 70 different scents; some I was familiar with, like Plumeria and Lavender, but others I'd never seen, like Kona Coffee, Lemon Coconut, Cinnamon Pearberry Fruit Crumble, and Bay Rum Spice.

They also have soaps for different skin concerns, like Oatmeal and Goat's Milk, Pine Tar, and Dead Sea Salt.

I chose the Thai Lime Delight Bar, because I love citrus scents, and I'd never seen this scent offered in a soap before!  This is not a bright lime scented bar, but more of an earthy, herbal lime.  Both my husband and I enjoyed the scent, finding it pleasant and not overpowering.  The soap itself is very gentle, but still gets the job done.  My skin felt soft and clean, but not stripped.

They also sell soap accessories (Anyone else hear that in Hank Hill's voice from King of the Hill?  "We sell soap and soap accessories"...) like this neat soap dish.   I only have a standard built-in shower soap dish.  By happy accident, I put the Thai Lime Delight bar on top of another unfinished bar of soap (I couldn't wait to try it!) and that helped keep the soap dry between showers.

I have small hands, so for me, it is more comfortable to cut large bars of soap in half.  This also means that the soap lasts longer, because it's not melting away in the shower!  It also makes it easier for me to hold in these lovely nailart poses!  I used Color Club Dirty Money, a gold textured polish, as the base, and then did a 2/3 French tip with A England Fotheringhay Castle, an olive-gold holo, and added the little heart detail at the top.

For more information, or to purchase, you can find Soap.Club on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, and their website, where you can purchase individual bars of soap for $9.95 each or get a subscription plan.
