Ageless Derma and CoverGirl Supersizer mascara are Press Samples. Everything else was purchased by me. All opinions are my own. |
Hello, Fireflies!
This may be the first time I've done a 'vault' post on some older makeup looks! Sometimes, I just don't get around to posting them, for whatever reason. Today, I have two looks that used blues and teals that I wanted to share with you.
This first look is probably the closest I've been able to come to those smoky Instagram eye looks. I have struggled with creating smoky eyes that look glam versus raccoon eyes. I've been learning how to use browns as transition colors for dark lids to create a more natural gradient for a dark smoky eye, so that's what I did here.
I really love this dramatic look!
And look at that big ol' curly mop! Big hair, don't care.
Here's the stable of products I used on my face:
|
What I used: Anastasia Beverly Hills World Traveler, Milani Eyeshadow
Primer, L'Oreal Youth Code Pore Vanisher, It Cosmetics Brow Power in
Universal Taupe, and Bye Bye Undereye Concealer in Neutral Medium,
CoverGirl Supersizer mascara, Physician's Formula Eye Booster eyeliner
in Ultra Black, Pixel Lip Butter in Intuitive, Clinique Cheek Pop in
Cola Pop, Kiko Sahara Glow highlighter in Desert Colours, Ageless Derma
Pressed Powder Foundation in Cool Beige. |
Here's a less smoky, teal eye I made - still using some brown to create a more natural transition.
I know that purples are supposed to be the great color match for brown eyes, but I have such an addiction to blue eye shadow.
It's kinda embarrassing how much makeup I used to create this look! I remember when I would just have a quad of eyeshadows, mascara, and maybe a lip gloss.
