Orange Is The New Black

Billion Dollar Brows is a Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

When I discovered the warm neutral palette, the skies parted, a light shone down, and the angels sung.  I know, I'm *supposed* to wear cool tones, and purples with my brown eyes.  But there's something about a peachy-pink orangey look that just steals my heart.

If you saw yesterday's Redken post, I'm sure you just didn't see anything past my bodacious, curvaceous curls, right?  But if you had, you might have noticed my warm makeup look.  Allow me to break it down.
I knew Sigma made brushes, but I didn't know about their eyeshadows.  I took advantage of a recent sale to pick up a few 'Sigma Girl' sets, and one included this eyeshadow duo of Tangy & Fresh, a combo of peachy-pink duochromes. I tried to capture the pink shift in the closed eye picture.  Love!

I lined and shaded the crease with my other new obsession, Kiko eyeshadow pencils.  This one is in their Moonshadow formula, a water-based, cool-on-the-skin formula.  I love these pencils.  You have a few seconds to blend, and then they stick, and don't crease.

The brow is filled in with an eyebrow pencil that keeps growing on me - the Billion Dollar Brows On Point Micro Pencil in Taupe.  So creamy, and easy to blend.  The mascara is Mally's More Is More mascara that I mentioned in my review of Mally's Good Life collection.  It's actually growing on me.  I saw in one of Tati's videos, her technique for getting fuller lashes - basically, wait until the first coat of mascara is dry - like a minute - and then work in the next coat by wiggling the brush in between the lashes.  I've really noticed a difference in how much thicker my lashes look.

Another new obsession I have is with the Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighters in Aura and Fireball.  Especially Fireball.  Peach with pink?  It's made for me.  I use it sometimes by itself as a blush, or sometimes as a topper to intensify a matte, like I did here.  It is sooooo pretty.

And, if you haven't tried OFRA's liquid lipsticks, then you haven't tried a liquid lipstick.  Actually, you may have tried one of theirs, but under a different name, as they also make cosmetics for private labels.  In my opinion, their formula is one of the very best.  The color I'm wearing is Charmed, from their collab with MannyMUA.

What I wore:  Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield, Urban Decay Fireball, It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination in Light & CC+ Vitality Brightening Creme Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi, Sigma shadow duo in Tangy & Fresh, Mally More Is More Mascara, Kiko Moonshadow 02, Billion Dollar Brows On Point in Taupe, and OFRA Liquid Lipstick in Charmed.
I don't often include my primer in the makeup shot, but I feel like I have to say something about this Murad Invisiblur.  Amazeballs.  It has sunscreen without the sunscreen smell.  It's clear, but it transforms the skin, even if you wear it by itself.  A little goes a very long way, so start off with just a dab.  It's got that silicone-slip, but it doesn't cause me to break out or have my makeup slide off.

Have you discovered any new faves lately?
