I can't believe it's already September! I really enjoyed doing all those jewelry-inspired manis last month, but it's time to move on. This month's theme is "Pets".. well, very loosely interpreted...  I have two stamped nailarts today inspired by a fantasy pet - Dragons!

It's Saturday, the day where sometimes I step outside the conventional purview of beauty blogging, and take a look at some things on the fringe that make me feel happy or beautiful or healthier.

In a few months, Mr. Lit From Within and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary!  I can't believe it myself - it seems like we're still on our honeymoon, sometimes.  When we were first married, we really couldn't afford much in the way of jewelry, but because he knows I love wearing it, he's always tried to find something special.  It doesn't get much more special than completely customizing that jewelry!
