Glitter Gal Green (Radial) Gradient
Hello, Fireflies!
It's time again for Sunday Stamping! I'm so excited about today's theme, because I've been obsessed with this technique for the last few weeks - stamping over a radial gradient!

EcoPolo challenge - Sheswai Sunburn!
Hello, Fireflies! Today's challenge is about the sunburn, and these polishes are sooo hot, they'll burn ya!
This polish was love at first sight for me, which is kinda unusual for a red that's not holo. It's Sheswai Honey Fox, and it just looks like it came from a fox, doesn't it?
It's got a slight hint of orange, like it was swirled with honey. Perfect name.
I was inspired by this pin of a mani by ChristaBell Nails for both my manis today. For this one, I took another hot polish, Glitter Gal Hot Chilli, and applied it in a swerve on the lower half of the nail.
A gold striper to outline and define finished the look. Hot to the touch!
The bottle shot: Sheswai Honey Fox, Glitter Gal Hot Chilli, and a gold nail art striper.
We're not done yet! This polish reminded me of that smoldering burn when the sun goes down. This deep burgundy has a gold shimmer that burns from within. This is Sheswai Badass. Yeah, that's right, Badass.
This time, I made the swerve pattern with Glitter Gal Transfusion, a deeper wine-colored holo.
I added a simpler design with the gold striper. That stripe just changes the whole look of the mani.

So, were you burnt by these hot, hot polishes? Time for some aloe and a cool drink!

Sunday Stamping - French Tips
These challenges sure do get me out of my comfort zone! I have so many French tip stamps that I've NEVER used. For one thing, they are hard to use on my nubbins, but it's better now that I'm getting a little length. I'm just getting better at the freehand tips - now you want me to *stamp*? aaahhhh!
Look at that gorgeous red shimmer in that nude polish. That's OPI Who Needs A Prince?
You can ignore the red tip in that previous pix. It's the beginning of these red-hot-holo French tips with Glitter Gal Red 3D/Holo, It's probably one of the best red holos I've ever seen.
And, here comes the stamp! MASH 01. I feel kinda special using the first Mash stamping plate. The idea was to have the red holo peek through the Finger Paints Black Expressionism.
Unfortunately, I'm not that practiced at lining up the stamp with the tip, so I had some correcting to do. Which meant that my base took the brunt of the cleanup. It didn't come back as pretty, though topcoat did help.
I really liked this effect, and I think it'll be worth practicing to get it to look nicer next time. It's almost like a holo tape mani... but without the tape. Yeah. That's the ticket.
What do you think? Do you like a stamped French tip?

Brown Holo Comparison
When I like a certain color or finish (hello, HOLO!) I find myself buying it over and over again, even though I already have something similar. And, somehow, it's always a surprise to me when I find dupes in my stash...
So, when I found that I had a few brown holos, I thought I'd see if any of them were dupes.
I have two from one of my fave holo Indies, Enchanted Polish. First is Vampires' Dessert, which is really more burgundy or wine than brown.
Enchanted Polish Hot Chocolate is like a cup of hot cocoa with .... shimmery marshmallows? Well, that's why we don't eat nail polish, I guess. It really does look like milk chocolate!
Glitter Gal Belgian Chocolate is a wonderful mix of brown with hints of red. I love this. So rich looking.
I have a version of OPI My Private Jet, but other than knowing it's not the holo version, I couldn't tell you if it's the dud or blue flash, or something else. So annoying with nail polish companies put out several versions of a polish with the same name.
Both fingers have on MPJ, but I put on a layer of Girly Bits Hocus Pocus - a spectraflair topcoat - over my thumb. It completely changes the color of MPJ to a grey!
All together, now. thumb - OPI MPJ with spectraflair, index - EP Vampires' Dessert, middle - EP Hot Chocolate, ring - GG Belgian Chocolate, and pinky - OPI MPJ unknown version. No dupes here!
Brown holo skittles!

Furnace Glow lit a fire in my heart!
This polish is very special! Meet Glitter Gal Furnace Glow Soft:
It's an amazing multichrome that has orange, pink, gold, and copper tones to it. It's such a strong shift that you don't need to do much to see it - it's just there, all the time. This is one of my new very favorite polishes.
I didn't want to cover it up, but I couldn't just leave it alone. The good thing is, you can still see the color shift! This is Amy's Nail Boutique Tiger Lily, a clear base with orange and black microglitter.
I love how the pink shows through the glitter!
Do you love these orange/pink duochrome polishes?

Random Holo Roundup
To finish off this holo week, I want to share with you some other random pretties.
This is Ozotic 513. The thumb is 1 coat over black, the others are 3 coats alone. I do seem to have a thing for purple holos, don't I? I don't think I realized how many I had until I was swatching this week!
And this is Ozotic 531, a multichrome holo, or a 'mish-mash'. Copper/pink beauty. These two are part of the discontinued line, but you can still find a few floating around, I think. I'm sure there will be some on e-bay.
The Brazilians have a lot of beautiful holos. The Specialista No Olympio collection is stunning, and so are the holos from UP colors and Ludurana. There are swatches many places for those, but I wanted to share a couple that I have and enjoy. This is UP colors Multi-Magenta. I find that most holos labeled 'magenta' are more pink, but this one at least has some magenta flashes in the holo.
This is Ludurana Notavel. Every holo collection has a silver. I didn't think I needed them all, but apparently I have collected my fair share. I picked this one up at a sale on Llarowe, I think.
This is a polish I haven't seen much of, but it's starting to crop up on nail blogs. Missha has a cosmetic line, and also makes some nice BB creams, if you're into that. I picked this polish up on their site with a couple of other polishes and the BB cream. It's the mysterious and beautifully named, "JBR01". Isn't that romantic?
Cute, heart-shaped bottle. I told you it was romantic. :) And it's brown. I love brown! I've never seen OPI My Private Jet holo version in person, but I've heard tell that this is close to it.
And, finally, a few from Glitter Gal, one of the first holo lines I heard about. I picked up these on sale at Llarowe. They are the SMALLEST polish bottles out there, so be aware that you are likely paying more per ounce for this polish than a fancy steak dinner.
GG Fuchsia. Really? Looks like a baby pink to me.
GG Copper. I really liked this color, but it doesn't read copper to me. Maybe a rose gold.
GG Marine Blue. I am such a fan of blue polish, and blue holo polish has me jibbering like an idiot. This is so pretty. I don't know if it's worth the money over say, a Jade blue holo, though.
I remember when I first discovered holos and this next one was the Holy Grail of them all. You couldn't beg, borrow, or steal a bottle of Lizard Belly. It's a dark teal base with a beautiful rainbow. There are others I like better, but this is still a unique color and a very nice polish.
Well, I hope I haven't bored you to tears. I'd love to hear your recommendations for holos you love.
