Sunday Stamping - 2-color oopsie from the Vault
Today's AIS theme is a 2-color stamp; more specifically, using 2 or more colors on the stamp itself. Since today's theme for me is the oopsie, I found an older stamp I did with that technique that didn't quite work out the way I'd hoped.
I started with a base coat of Julep Susie. Like most pastels, it was a pain to work with. I should have seen that as an omen, I suppose, that this mani was doomed from the start!
I don't remember which plate I used, and I forgot to take a pix. But, I do know that I put three different colors on the stamp - Julep Alfre, Isla, and Piper.
They are all pretty frosty, and I thought they would stamp well, but they are all too light. Alfre, the purple, is probably the strongest. I'm pretty sure that I then tried to double stamp to see if I could get more color on the nail, but that didn't work so well, either!
Here's the bottle shot: Susie, Piper, Alfre, and Isla.
If I can't be a good example, then today, let me be a horrible warning!
