Most everyone I know has some hair somewhere on their body that they remove regularly, whether it be legs, armpit, chest, face, or body. Removing it is one thing, but then dealing with the regrowth can be another drama.
As I get older, I actually worry less about the hair on my legs, and more about the hair sprouting on my face! As a Latina, and someone who suffers from PCOS, thick, black facial hair has become my nemesis. I pluck chin hairs almost daily. The struggle is real.
Those plucked chin hairs will often get ingrown, and then I tear up my skin digging them out. It's painful, and it leaves my skin damaged. I needed a solution before I scarred myself, so I was thrilled when I got a chance to try Kerah Lane Razor Bump and Ingrown Hair Formula.
It's best if used daily, and after hair removal. Apply the gel liberally where the hair was removed, and then rinse it off and let it dry. The gel has a citrus/witch hazel scent that is pleasant and short-lived. The gel rinses clean, and doesn't irritate my skin. The ingredients are all natural, some are organic, and the formula is vegan-friendly.
The condition of the skin on my chin has improved, and I haven't gotten any really bad ingrown hairs since I started using this gel. Even my breakouts have reduced on my chin where I use the gel. One weird side effect seems to be that my chin hairs are thinner and break more easily. This would be great for the hairs on my legs, but it means I have more trouble tweezing out the hairs on my face.
The gel is supposed to be used on clean, dry skin, and then rinsed off. And it says not to use it with other products. Again, this would be fine on my legs, but I need to apply my serums and moisturizers to my face. So, I end up not using it every day, and I know that diminishes its effectiveness.
For more information, or to purchase, you can find Kerah Lane on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, and their website, where this Razor Bump & Ingrown Hair Formula currently retails for $17.95.
