Having clear skin and a good hair day can really add to my confidence and put a big smile on my face. So, when Maple Holistics offered me the chance to try a couple of their products that put me in a pampering mood, I was pretty happy about it!
With my curly hair, it's really difficult to find good conditioners that detangle and leave my hair soft and shiny. I have a shower caddy full of hair masks and deep conditioners, and I was pretty sure I was never going to see a regular conditioner give me the same results as a mask. Maple Holistics Silk 18 did all that, and with a nice vanilla scent!
A wide-toothed comb is my best friend when applying conditioner, to make sure it's distributed all throughout my hair. It takes a few minutes, but there's no substitute for getting conditioner on every strand. I leave it on while I soap up, etc, and rinse it out with cooler water. When I'm done with my shower, I'll rub a small amount between my hands and apply it from the middle to the ends as a leave-in conditioner.
Maple Holistics Dead Sea Mud Mask is so smooth and super-creamy! It has a wonderfully pleasant scent - a little minty, but mostly it smells like Clary Sage, which is a favorite of mine. I pretty much always apply my mud masks with a paddle-type foundation brush, which helps me get a smooth, even application, and get the mask everywhere I want it - on my face, and not all over my hands.
I was so impressed with how bright my skin looked, and how soft it was, I just had to take an after picture. I wish someone had told me about mud masks when I was younger!
