Hello, Fireflies!
Welcome to Saturday Spam! I have a few purple holos to show you today, all wonderful in their own way!
I Love Nail Polish Kings & Queens. Royal purple holo goodness. Have you seen the new Summer holos? They're on presale now. I couldn't resist getting a few. Her polishes are buttery!
Aly's Dream Polish Intense Blurple. When Aly does a pre-sale, it's amazing! She puts everything up, and will make it to order. She doesn't use Spectraflair, and most of her holos are scattered holo. Look at this amazing pigmentation!
The Devil Wears Polish Lady Marmalade. This picture doesn't do it justice - it's complex, with purple and pink holo flame. Her polishes tend to be a little on the thick side, but not gloopy.
Girly Bits Ho-Ho-Hope. Forever a GB fan! This was part of her holiday collection, and it's a gorgeous purple. In the next picture, I add to it!
Joss In A Violet Haze. This is a white glitter holo with a purple shimmer. Looks great over Ho-Ho-Hope!
And a bottle shot of Girly Bits Ho-Ho-Hope, and Joss In A Violet Haze. Don't the purples match beautifully?
Do you love purple like I love purple? Have you tried any of these Indie brand polishes?

Great Green Gatsby = #NailArtForNubs
Hello, Fireflies!
Did you see my review earlier today for Estee Lauder CyberWhite HD? If you're interested, click HERE to open the link!
I'm excited to show you this polish today - The Devil Wears Polish Mint Mocha Masterpiece!
I think it's a hoot that it really looks like mint chocolate. Mmm, tasty.
Today's nail art is inspired by this striping tape manicure by The Nailasaurus, found on Divine Caroline. I, obviously, didn't use striping tape.. I was feeling lazy, and, more importantly, I wanted to play with my new Sally Hansen nail art pen.
Making straight lines that went across the 'V' was harder than it looked. What's up, droopy line on my index finger? Get tired of holding yourself up?
Bottle shot: The Devil Wears Polish Mint Mocha Masterpiece, and a Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Green.
Have you found a shortcut to a nail art technique? I love the way the striping tape mani looks, but this was so much quicker!

The Devil Wears Dots
Hello, Fireflies!
Have you seen these nice holos from The Devil Wears Polish? This one is Nice & Toasty, a hot-cocoa brown.
All of her polishes I tried were a little on the thick side, but the Devil herself :) told me that she's changed bases to a thinner one, and the formula's much improved.
I love brown and pink together, so I made a few dots with Butter London Primrose Hill Picnic, leaving room for another set of dots.
I have trouble deciding if I like it when I add things to a holo. Seems I can never leave well enough alone.
I then added some dots with Butter London Keks. You can't tell much from the dotticure, but I've also made another mani with it for later in the month. If you like 'rubber' finishes, you need this polish. This is one of the brightest, smoothest, makes-me-smile blues I've worn in a long time.
I like brown and pink together, and brown and blue together.. and I think I like all three together, too. Like colored marshmallows on hot chocolate.
Bottle shot: The Devil Wears Polish Nice & Toasty, Butter London Primrose Hill Picnic and Keks.
So, would you dotticure over a holo?

Tequila Hearts
Hello, Fireflies!
It's a little nippy out there, even for us in Florida, so I hope this mani helps warm your heart.
I started with The Devil Wears Polish Tequila Sunrise, a warm golden-pink holo. Application was a little thick, as have been all of her polishes that I've tried. This does make them take a little longer to dry.
I think the color payoff is worth it, though. And the holo is very nice, especially for a lighter color.
I always get a thrill out of finding a pix on Pinterest and am actually able to track down the source. Well, I'm no detective - it was watermarked, but I still had to find the link. It's the small victories, people.
I didn't have the white heart studs that Fairly Charming had, but I improvised with Cult Nails Tempest to do both the white french and the dots and hearts.
If you squint a little and use your imagination, the French tip looks like the top of a heart, and then there's a little heart on top on the accent nails. Cute, right?

Rose gold is in right now, will you be wearing it on your nails?
