Have you ever spent time on Pinterest, looking at the life hacks and thinking that maybe, you, too, could DIY?  I wish that wrapping a bandana around my head made me a crafty superhero, but I really struggle with the whole MacGyver-esque world of Do-It-Yourself.  I recently got to try a few products, though, that have made a few things easier for me, and I wanted to share them with you!

Even in Florida, things are a bit nippy at the moment!  I actually love this time of year here - I get out my cozy blanket (we love it so much, we nicknamed it, "The Awesome."  As in, "I love cuddling on the couch with my dog and The Awesome."  I can burn candles without the A/C having to work to compensate for the added heat.  And, I get to wear my favorite fuzzy socks with monkey faces on them.

Even with my naturally oily skin, this time of year dries me out a bit, so I decided to share with you some of my favorites for keeping my skin looking and feeling its best when it gets dry!

Have you discovered Jojoba Oil yet?  It looks like it should be "joe-joe-ba," but it's pronounced, "ho-ho-ba."  And, though it says it's an oil, it's really a wax ester.  Processed from a plant, it's so like our own skin's sebum that our bodies can't tell the difference.
