When You Need One Moisturizer To Do It All! #asanabeauty

Asana Beauty Synergy EX Retinol Hyaluronic Collagen Moisturizer
Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

When I packed for a trip to see my family, the Asana Beauty Synergy EX Retinol Hyaluronic Collagen Moisturizer was the only moisturizer I packed.  It had to do double-duty as both morning and evening moisturizer, and occasionally, a hand moisturizer, too.  How did it hold up under the stress of travel?

When I packed for the trip, I saw "moisturizer" on the label, and assumed it is what it says it is.  Then, later, I read on the Directions, to put this on *before* your moisturizer.  So, which is it, Asana?  Is it a serum or a moisturizer?

Well, for me and my oily skin, this worked great as a moisturizer over my serum.  The texture is creamy, like a moisturizer, and it's not greasy or heavy at all.  Even though my skin could get dry at the end of the day from all the heat my parents blast in the house (seriously.  I'm sleeping with the fan on, kicking the sheets off, and mom is huddled under the blankets...) my skin would plump up and feel moisturized just from putting this and my serum on before bed.

You know that I love my pump dispensers, and this one is so pretty, and so BIG! There is a whopping 4 oz of product in this tube.  Even using 3 pumps, twice a day, every day, for a month, and sharing it on occasion with my husband, it's still not empty.  Such a bargain.  And, it's so nice.  Creamy, light, and fragrance-free, this has some of my favorite skincare ingredients, like Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Jojoba Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, and Collagen.  Even though it has Retinol, it's at a very comfortable 1%, so I didn't experience any redness, irritation, or peeling.  It didn't bother me to wear it during the day, though it should be layered with a sunscreen.

Of course, we should always wear sunscreen.

Asana says that they reverse-engineered this from a $90 cream to get this affordable version with the same properties.  I can agree that price isn't always an indication of quality or effectiveness.  I found that this moisturizer worked well for me in a time of skincare chaos - travel, changes in temperature, changes in humidity, and environmental stress.

I was inspired by the Asana Beauty logo when doing this nail art!  The logo is painted with Maybelline Bold Gold, and the frame is done the gold and also a black striper.  The base is a white polish.

For more information, or to purchase, you can find Asana Beauty on their webpage, and on Amazon, where this moisturizer currently retails for $18.05.

When you travel, do you like to take different moisturizers for different needs, or one multi-tasking product?
