Heading Pimples Off at the Pass #Eclipse_Blemish_Solution

Hello, Fireflies!

Oily skin has meant for me that pimples weren't just a part of puberty.  I still deal with them, and it gets frustrating!  Spot treating an already erupted pimple means days of redness, and crusty areas that are hard to cover with concealer.  So, I've been trying to head the pimples off at the pass with Eclipse Blemish Solution.

The second ingredient in this solution is Witch Hazel, a natural astringent that is good for cleansing and tightening the pores.  It also has White Willow bark, which acts similarly to aspirin, which has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties to clear the skin.  Another main ingredient is Aloe, to soothe and heal the skin without rich, skin-clogging creams.
This serum is a light, yellow-tinted gel that absorbs quickly, leaves no residue, and smells a little like Witch Hazel.  I don't find it to be a strong scent, but if you don't like Witch Hazel, you might be sensitive to the smell.  I really like that it comes in a pump dispenser to make it easier to meter out, and it also keeps the serum fresher and free from contaminants.
I found that using this blemish serum helped keep the deeper cystic pimples away, but I still dealt with the small whiteheads that constantly plague me.  I haven't found anything yet that completely keeps those away.  I like that it didn't dry out my skin, or irritate it, which can be a problem for aging skin.  I found the solution to be gentle enough to use every day, too.

An abstract Eclipse! The base is Zoya Sue, a white matte velvet, and I painted the detail with Zoya Cinnamon.
If you struggle with blemishes like I do, and you prefer skincare with natural ingredients like Willow Bark and Aloe, you might enjoy using Eclipse Blemish Solution.  For more information, or to purchase, you can find this serum on the Eclipse website, where it currently retails for $19.99.
