Ageless Derma Oil Free Purifying Facial Cleanser Gel #agelessderma

Hello, Fireflies!

How do you clean your face?  I never knew there were so many choices, but I'm having fun picking textures, scents, and systems that work for me - and may work for you.

I was drawn to the Ageless Derma Oil Free Purifying Natural Facial Cleanser Gel for two reasons - 1) I loved the Ageless Derma Powder Foundation I tried, and 2) Oil-free Gel.

When you have aging, oily skin, it can be a challenge finding the right cleanser.  If it's for oily skin, you have to be sure it's not too harsh, and strips the natural oils, but that it still helps you fight the problems with oil clogging the pores.  Most times, if I find a cleanser for aging skin, that automatically means it's for dry skin, and it's so rich that my skin freaks out and starts breaking out like crazy.

This cleanser contains aloe vera, to soothe irritated skin, and chamomile, which works as an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant, and it also helps reduce puffiness and deep cleans the pores.  Deep cleaning, but non-irritating, with anti-oxidants, and no parabens...sounds perfect!

And, it works really well on my skin, I have to say.  I've seen some reviews that say they detect a citrus scent - I don't really detect much of a scent at all.  Faintly herbal, if anything, but definitely subtle.  It doesn't lather a lot on me, but after watching a beauty guru (whose name escapes me at the moment!) talk about applying cleanser to dryish skin - because you want grip, not slip - I do the same thing. I rinse with plenty of water, but I only use enough water at the start to get a grippy texture with my fingers, and then I move in circular motions.  Not only is this great for cleansing, it's a bit of a facial massage, too!

The packaging is really simple and clean, but it inspired this little bit of nail art I did with Color Club holos in Beyond and Kismet stamped over Sally Hansen/Revlon white, and Urban Decay Zodiac as a funky French tip.

And, because the packaging is a neat black matte, I mattified the mani, too!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
