Day By Day Vitamin C Serum #skincare

Hello, Fireflies!

Do you use facial serums?  Since discovering that they are a great way to deliver concentrated amounts of skincare ingredients into the skin, I can't get enough.  Lately, I've been trying a few different Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid  serums.  Finding the right serum or combination of serums that works for you can make a big difference in how your skin looks and feels!

Day By Day Beauty Vitamin C Serum

I got a chance to try Day By Day Vitamin C Serum. As always, the first thing I notice about my skincare is the packaging.  I love that it's safety sealed in the bottle, and the pump comes separate - less chance for spillage.

And, you know I love a good pump.

Both the pump and the dark glass bottle help to keep the product sanitary and useful longer by minimizing the exposure to oxygen and light.

According to their listing on Amazon.com, here's what's in the serum: Deionized Aqua (Water), Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (Botanical Hyaluronic Acid), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Carbomer, Arginine, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Phenoxy- ethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin, Organic Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola Extract), Organic Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail Plant Extract), Organic Pelagonium Gravoleons (Geranium Extract), Organic Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion Extract).

These ingredients are known to brighten, lighten, and clarify the skin, diminish fine lines, sun damage, and acne scarring, and help the skin retain more moisture.

If you like to use multiple serums, or follow with a moisturizer, it's recommended that you wait for each serum to dry and be absorbed first.  I love that this serum is so light, with a thin, almost watery, consistency, that absorbs really quickly with no sticky residue.

Day By Day Beauty Vitamin C Serum is clear, light, and absorbs quickly

Day By Day claims that this serum works on all skin types, even sensitive skin.  My oily skin loves serums, and I love it when I find one that doesn't cause me to break out! This spa formula is plant-based, and is paraben, alcohol, and cruelty-free.  It doesn't have much of a fragrance, either.  Kinda smells..well, serum-y.  Not medicinal, per se, more like that botanical smell I've noticed that some skincare has.

My skin feels really healthy and soft, and my little patch of sun damage on my cheeks seems to be lightening.  I'm definitely going to keep Vitamin C serums in my skincare routine from now on!

If you'd like more information, or to purchase Day By Day Beauty Vitamin C Serum, you can find them on FacebookYouTube, Amazon.com, and also their website.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

    1. It's a small detail, but it does make application and usage so much easier, that I'm more likely to reach for a pump than a dropper, I think, all other things being equal.

    1. I definitely recommend a Vitamin C serum, but I think the trick is finding one that you like. There are differences in texture, scent, etc..

  9. Sounds like I would enjoy this one. I like serums that are not heavy or too thick because I use a few day and night and need to get it on quickly. So I liked that it dries quickly. I'm gonna check this out.

    1. Because of your skin issues and not wearing foundation, I bet it gets tricky to get the right combo of products - because your skin always looks fabulous! You should do a video on your current skin care routine.

  10. Love that this does not have a sticky residue. That is usually why I avoid most serums.

  11. Don't you wish that vitamins were named according to how awesome they were? I mean, Vitamin C should be Vitamin A..wesome!
