The Smart Way ...Weigh #choosethesmartweigh

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

A trip to the Post Office seemed easier when I was younger.  I don't remember long lines (except, maybe at lunch time!) or so many options for shipping that could vary so much based on the weight of a package.  Nowadays, I can simplify my postal needs by weighing at home and choosing options from a webpage before I even go to the Post Office with my SmartWeigh Shipping and Postal Scale.

When I got into the beauty world, there was a lot of buying, selling, and swapping between individuals, and I couldn't figure out how people were printing postage at home (and for less money than at the Post Office!)  I could never figure out how much it was going to cost for me to ship a few items, or why it would cost so much more postage for adding one more item.  With this scale, there's no more mystery - unless the package is under 2 oz or over 440 lbs (200kg) - the crazy limits of this scale.
This scale has a nice large stainless steel base that easily fits most anything I'd ever want to ship - and the display is on a cord, so it can stretch further away from the base if the package being weighed is particularly unwieldy.  The scale itself weighs less than 5 lbs, but it can handle something as much as 440.  I don't plan on shipping any baby elephants, but I do like that I can use it to make sure my luggage doesn't exceed the travel maximums.
This scale is simplicity itself, really, when it comes to operation.  It comes with a USB cable to power it, if you keep it close to the computer.  If not, it uses a 9-volt battery, one of which comes with it!  Have no fear of draining the battery, though - this scale will automatically shut itself off if you're not using it.

It can display the weight in grams, kilograms, ounces, and pounds.  It has a tare button if you want to zero out one thing on the scale and weigh something else - for example if you wanted to weigh a bunch of marbles, you could put a bowl on the scale, tare it out, and then pour the marbles into the bowl.  The scale would then only show the weight of the marbles. This is great for you DIY'ers who like to make things that require mixing particular weights of ingredients.

Maybe now that I have my own versatile shipping scale, I can do more giveaways and not have to worry about how much the package is going to cost to ship!

For more information, or to purchase, you can find Smart Weigh on their website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and on Amazon, where this scale retails for $34.99.

What would you put on your Smart Weigh scale?
