Happy NYE! Whether you're going out and partying, or bringing in the New Year with the TV, you can still have fabulous nails, right? For me, the trend was nude, with a little (or a lot) of bling! I reached into the vault to bring up some looks you might want to try to ring in your 2015.
I'm pretty sure this look was based on one by Bianca Friedrich.
I love this blingy take on a French tip - lots of shimmer and glitter! I used Pixi Mother Of Pearl for the base, Finger Paints Golden Kisses for the tip, and Cult Nails Fetish for the black details.
This is a very simple look, with just a nude base and a pink shimmer polish over it. Very demure.
I used a nude from a Bonita set that wasn't labeled, and Golden Rose Multi Dimensions #6 over it.
From simply demure to simply BLINGED out.
This is the stunning Zoya Bar, a nude jelly with tons of holographic glitter. It's like encrusting your nails with diamond dust or something.
Adding a bit of orange is an unexpected touch to this nude and black glitter mani.
I used that same nameless Bonita as the base, and topped it with Sephora X Bombshell.
How about some nudish metallics? Enchanted Polish Good Life is a champagne gold holo/flake polish.
Paired with Enchanted Polish Amazing, a silver flake texture, makes for a bold metallic silver/gold look.
How about a gradient? I made a base of Orly Gilded Coral - a pale pink with a gold shimmer, and then did glitter gradients with Ciate Antique Brooch and Ciate Love Letter.
Whatever you decide to wear on your nails, I'd love to see it! Please feel free to post pictures (and links) on my Facebook page.
May your 2015 be the happiest yet!
