Pure Body Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum #HyaluronicAcidSerum

Product provided for review.  All opinions are my own.

Hello, Fireflies!

Serum? I hardly even know 'em!  New take on an old joke, and here's a new take on a fave serum! Pure Body Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum, that is. If you like your skin to look younger and plumper, then this type of serum is king.

Pure Body Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum packaging

For those of you that are new to this kind of serum, the short version is: your body makes Hyaluronic Acid when you're younger, and as you age, it diminishes.  Hyaluronic Acid absorbs 1000x it's weight in water, which gives the skin a hydrated, plumped look.  So, when it goes, so does that youthful, hydrated look.  Luckily, we can put some of it back with serums like these.
What's different about this one?  Not only does it contain Hyaluronic Acid, Pure Body Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum also has Vitamins C & E, no parabens, is vegan, made with 72% organic ingredients, and is cruelty-free.  Pure Body Naturals claims a Slow Release Technology that delivers deeper penetration of active ingredients, and a stimulation of collagen.

This is not one of the orange-y smelling serums.  It is a little herbal-y, if anything, but I don't think it has a strong scent.  It looks and feels like a very light hair gel, but it absorbs quickly...and probably wouldn't do much to style your hair...

I had been testing this serum for a few weeks when my husband asked if I had anything he could use for his dry skin.  I handed him this bottle and asked him to tell me what he thought of the serum, and he was surprised how fast it absorbed.  He thought it was almost too fast! I realized that, because I had been using it regularly, my skin absorbed it within moments of putting it on, but because he had gone without for so long, his skin absorbed it as he was applying it. I was enjoying the benefits of regular application, and his skin was desperate for more hydration!

There are lots of serums to choose from out there.  This one worked for me, and I like that it also contains Vitamins C & E, too.  If a vegan, cruelty-free, mostly organic serum ticks the boxes for you, you might like Pure Body Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum.  Currently, it's sold exclusively on Amazon.com.  The list price is $35, but it's on sale for $15.  For more information about Pure Body Naturals, you can find them on their website, and Facebook.

Do you use a serum?  What does your serum have to have in it?
