Fruit Infuser Water Bottle #TrimEvolution

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

It's still Saturday... for a few minutes! Still time to share a Something Strange Saturday - stuff I've been using that doesn't fit with the normal beauty theme, but still makes me feel good.  And, there's nailart today! Nailart with me sticking strange things on my nails, too.

Ever since I saw these fruit-infusers start coming onto the market, I've wanted to try one.  We drink a lot of soda in this house, but we go through phases where we try to stop and drink healthier options.  I drink a lot of tea, some coffee, and often powder or liquid flavor additives that I put in water - but they all have some chemical component or artificial sweetener.  I figured using this type of infuser bottle would offer flavored water, without adding anything harmful!
This bottle from Trim Evolution is made from Tritan plastic, which is strong, dishwasher safe, (top rack) BPA-free, tasteless, odorless, stain-resistant, and easy to clean.  I kinda wish it had a flip-top spout for easier drinking, but the screw cap is very secure, and even offers a handle.  I'm thinking I might slip a carabiner through the handle and attach it to my work satchel for my teaching days.
It's pretty easy to take the center part out, fill it with fruit or veg, and then fill the bottle up with water and submerge the reservoir.  I like having the reservoir separate so that I can get the fruit or veg out easier.  Also, I really don't like chunks in my drinks - I don't even like pulp in my orange juice.  This way, when I drink, it's just water and flavor - no bits.
The only downside is that I've become accustomed to instant gratification when it comes to my drinks - either popping open a bottle or can, or adding a flavor takes seconds.  It takes a little time to prep the fruit or veg, and it takes time for the water to infuse with the flavor.  Cucumber was 1-2 minutes; raspberries took about 10 minutes.  I think these should come in 2-packs so that I can have one always ready to go, while I'm drinking one.

A fruit-infused drink calls for a fruity nailart! I used a fun neon multi-colored glitter from Color Club called Do The Twist over Milani Sheer Vintage Lace for the base.  Then, I added fruit fimo slices on top.  Tutti-Fruity!

For more information, or to purchase, this Trim Evolution Fruit Infuser Water Bottle can be found on Amazon, where it currently retails for $10.99
