I'm a Degree Drier... #Influenster #TryDry

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

I don't remember when I started using deodorant/antiperspirant, but it was a loong time ago.  I seem to recall that I started with roll-ons, which were very wet and sticky in their day.  I remember when we were first married, my husband used to use a spray deodorant, but it was also very wet.  In those days, you applied, then you did a little dance with your arms in the air.  We didn't "put our hands in the air like we just didn't care."  We did it to keep our clothes from sticking to our armpits! Now, there's a new kind of spray!

Thanks to Influenster, I go to try the new Degree Motion Sense DrySpray in Fresh Energy.  The only thing 'traditional' about it is that it uses aluminum chlorohydrate as an anti-perspirant agent.  Other than that, it's a whole new kind of product.
To use, shake it up, and then press the button on the lid.  You can spray continuously, or, like I like to, in short bursts.  I find that helps me avoid creating a cloud of deodorant.

I will admit, in a fog of early-morning-before-coffee haze, I pulled the top off of the bottle, thinking it was a cap.  Because literally every other deodorant I have used has a cap.  Well, derp.  Luckily, I didn't break it.  I put the piece back on, and it works just fine.  Just so you know, this product is pretty much idiot-proof.

It does come out as a liquid, but it dries super-quickly.  There is no dance, no waving of the arms, no flopping about needed.  The scent is fresh and powdery, but it doesn't last long.  The protection, on the other hand, lasts all day.  I know this because it's still 80+ degrees here in Florida.  In December.  We're all roasting down here.  Send ice.  I'm hot, but at least I'm not sweating or stinky!

Nailart inspired by the Degree DrySpray packaging!  The base is Ulta Peppermint.  I drew the design on with white first, then colored in with LeChat Orange Blossom and Zoya Daisy, and then outlined some of the stripes with Ulta Silver Bell.  I painted the logo on my thumb with Sally Hansen Salon Dark Knight.
If you're tired of waiting for your antiperspirant to dry, or find gels too sticky, or solids too clumpy, maybe you'd like this new kind of dry spray.  There are different scents in the Degree line, and Dove and Axe also have different options. They range in price from around $5 - $10 at Walmart.
