I Can See Clia Now, The Puffies Are Gone... #cliabeauty

Hello, Fireflies!

How do you know when you're using a product that works for you?  Does it hold up under extreme conditions, or give you a certain glow?  For me, sometimes the best litmus test for a product is to see how it works while I'm traveling.  Over the next week, I'm planning on some reviews of products I took on a recent trip to see my family.  One of my favorites was this Clia All-In-One Eye Gel!

Even though my family is only a few hours away, it seems like my skin changes so drastically when I visit.  And, since this trip came with a bit of a family crisis, my eyes were even more stressed out than usual.

Clia All-In-One Eye Gel

I love gel skincare, especially on my eyes.  There's something soothing about that cooling, light gel that makes my eyes just immediately feel better.  This slightly milky, fragrance-free gel absorbs pretty quickly, and without any residue.  I love the pump dispenser, too.  The opaque plastic keeps the gel away from damaging light, and the pump helps minimize contamination and exposure to air.

Made from natural, proven ingredients like Matrixyl 3000, Jojoba Oil, and Green Tea extract, their formula is made in the USA and never tested on animals.  There is no caffeine, Vitamin K, or Retinol in this eye gel.

According to Amazon, their full list of ingredients are as follows:  Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Matrixyl 3000, Palmitoyl Triepeptide-3, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Globularia Cordifolia Callus Culture Extract (Plant Stem Cells), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber Hydrosol), Organic Simmondsis Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Silk Amino Acid Blend (Sodium L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylate, Sodium Lactate, L'Arginine, L-Aspartic Acid, L-Pyrrolidonecarboxylic Acid, Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Serine, L-Valine, L-Proline, L-threonine, L-Isoleucine, L-Histidine, L-Phenylalanine), Wildcrafted Vinca Major (Periwinkle), Organic Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice), Wildcrafted Euphrasia Officinalis (Eye Bright), Wildcrafted Ganoderma Lucidum (Reishi), Organic Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola), Boswellia Serrata (Frankincense), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

I love this nailart inspired by the Clia Eye Gel label.  The base is GlitterDaze Under The Golden Sun, and I created the stripe with striping tape and OPI Red Fingers & Mistletoes.
On my under-eye area, the Clia Eye Gel kept the puffiness away, and the skin hydrated without feeling greasy or heavy.  I almost always use eye gel around my lips, too.  When I used this one, I could feel a subtle lifting and tightening around my mouth - it really felt like it was working to smooth out those smile lines! Even my husband started using this on our trip because his skin was getting dry, and he liked it, too.  If you're looking for a natural, effective, and inexpensive eye gel, you might enjoy this one from Clia.  For more information, or to purchase, you can find them on their website, and on Amazon, where this eye gel currently retails for $14.95.

Do you have a beauty product 'stress test'?
