Mother's Day Flowers

Hello, Fireflies!

I'm not a mother myself, and this year, my mom is very ill.  I'll be visiting her today.  She is a master at gardening, with a vast knowledge of how to grow almost anything.  She loves flowers and plants, and I remember growing up with huge flower gardens, and the best home-grown tomatoes on the planet.

I decided to merge my love of nailart with her love of flowers for today's Stamping Sunday/Mother's Day nailart.

I started with a base of OPI Go With The Lava Flow, and then used a cosmetic sponge to apply different polishes in purples and pinks.

I stamped on the large flowers so that the different colors looked like gradients in the flower petals.

I added a few details with black and white stripers.

What I used: OPI Go With The Lava Flow, Ulta Grin And Berry It, China Glaze Shut The Front Door, Essie Sexy Divide, my white and black stripers, and Finger Paints Paper Mache with my Winstonia W-04 stamping plate.
I wish all of you a happy day, whether you're a mother, or with your mom, or just thinking about your mom, or someone who is like a mom to you. Or, just a happy Sunday!
