Grooming on the Go With Bombay Majestic Grooming Kit #tweezerset

Product provided for review.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

As a woman who is over 40, Latina, and has PCOS, the deck is stacked against me when it comes to unwanted hairs sprouting on me.  Seems like every day I have to pluck something, somewhere.

So, I need a good set of tweezers, and I need them to be travel-friendly, since I know I can't go too many days without my trusty tweezers.  I think this Precision Grooming Set by Majestic Bombay can handle any tweezing need!

Sometimes, you can tell the quality of a product by the way it feels in your hands.  This faux leather pouch is sturdy, a bit thick, and has little compartments for each implement, so that they don't bang up against each other.

The kit contains three different types of tweezers and a set of nail scissors.  The scissors are great for hangnails, but I also love using these types of scissors for help with my nail maintenance and art.  I can precisely cut silk wraps, striping tape, water decals, product seals - they are great for getting into small spaces!

I'll be honest - I didn't know before that I needed three different kinds of tweezers.  I use two of them very frequently now, though!  The regular slant-tip are the workhorses of my tweezer world.  Great for plucking those annoying chin hairs, cleaning up my brows, and I've even started plucking little hairs that have started growing on my husband's ears.  Getting old is interesting - as he looses hair on the top of his head, I find it growing in new places, like his ear lobes.

The pointed, ingrown-hair tweezers are great for lifting hairs up that are ingrown, and for splinters that are under the skin.  I love these types of tweezers in my nail art, too - for placing decals or striping tape, or picking up and placing studs or rhinestones. They are great for detail work.

The last type of tweezer I'd never seen before getting this set. They are sort of the opposite of the slender, pointed tweezers, having a shorter, broader base, and they are used for larger-scale work, like the bikini line.
If you've ever used cheap tweezers, you know how frustrating it can be to have that hair in your grasp, and find that your tweezers can't keep a hold of it - or worse, you can't isolate the one hair you want to pull and grab too many.  Made from high-grade stainless steel and precision-aligned, these tweezers get the job done.

And, they're pretty.  I love the metallic blue finish.  So unusual!
