Instanatural Solutions for Hair, Body, and Face! #deadseamask

Hello, Fireflies!

I'm back again with some more reviews of what is quickly becoming a favorite brand of mine - InstaNatural.  And I have some of my fave things from them, too - hair stuff, and a masque.. and a strange oil that is pretty unique!

I love face masques, and I have to say, the InstaNatural Dead Sea Mud Mask is pretty different! The texture is so neat - almost gelatinous.  It feels very cooling, and I feel like it stays wetter longer - which is a great thing, because as soon as any masque dries out, it's no longer working.

The Dead Sea is a mecca for people with skin issues.  The high mineral content is said to help a myriad of skin issues, such as eczema, psoriasis, and blemishes.  Soaking in mineralized water can also be beneficial to aches and pains.  I didn't treat my body with it to find out, but boy, even on the face, it sure is relaxing.
When applying this mineral-rich, cooling masque, you'll want to make sure you have a thick layer on.  It's easy to apply and spread this masque because of it's texture.  Too thin of a layer, and you can almost see through it!

Even though I have oily skin, and mud masques are perfect for me, I think this particular masque could be used by all different skin types.  Not only does it have the mud, but the minerals are great for all skin, and it also has Aloe Vera and Shea Butter to moisturize and soothe.

Instanatural's Dead Sea Mud Mask can be found on Amazon.com, where it currently in on sale for $25.95.

Earlier this week, I reviewed another hair treatment that is pretty similar to this one in form and function.  This type of Hair Treatment works really well for me because my hair sucks up Argan Oil like crazy... but my hair's eyes are bigger than it's stomach, so to speak, because, before I know it, my hair is a giant greaseball!  With this Argan Ail Hair Treatment and Elixir, you can either use it as a leave-in, or how I prefer, as a treatment.  You pump on as much product as you want, and leave it in anywhere from 20 minutes to overnight and then shampoo it out.  I follow with a conditioner, too, because my hair is so dry, but your mileage may vary.

This lightweight elixir has sunflower, argan, coconut, jojoba, olive, and grapeseed oil.. but it smells like peanut butter.  So.. nutty!

My hair feels stronger and healthier, and my split ends are temporarily glued shut, resulting in less frizz.  I know it's just temporary, but I'm really dreading my next haircut, and I want to put it off as long as possible, while still having pretty hair!

Instanatural's Argan Oil Hair Treatment can be found on Amazon.com, where it currently in on sale for $17.99.

I remember my mom having Emu Oil around for her muscle aches, but I hadn't thought about it until I was asked if I wanted to try InstaNatural's Emu Oil.  There's only one ingredient - refined Emu Oil.
Yes, it actually comes from some varieties of the Emu bird.  The birds were originally raised for meat, but Emu meat never really caught on.  The farmers had discovered that the fat from the back of the bird was an amazing moisturizer, and even worked on muscle and joint pain!

I don't know why, but I thought it would smell like chicken.  Don't worry, it doesn't smell like anything.  Not like lanolin smells like sheep, either.  Emu oil has a slightly off-white, milky look to it, and I think it's heavier than plant oils I've used.  It does take a minute to sink in, but nowhere near something like Shea or Cocoa Butter.

I wasn't planning on hurting myself before writing this post, but I did burn my knuckle on the oven door last night.  I immediately slathered it with Aloe Vera, my usual go-to for burns and irritations.  As soon as the Aloe dried, my skin would sting and sting.  I happened to have my bottle of Emu Oil handy, and I figured I'd try it on my burn.. and it stopped the pain *immediately*  Today, I have a tiny blister, but no pain.  It's supposed to work on sunburn and other small wounds, too, and even scars.

I think after this holiday is over, I could really use a mini spa day with my hair treatment, put my Dead Sea Mask on, slather my cuticles with Emu Oil, and take a nap.  How do you pamper yourself?

Instanatural's Emu Oil can be found on Amazon.com, where it currently in on sale for $21.95.
