My Curls Are Ready To Party! #royallockshaircare

Hello, Fireflies!

Today's post is for the curlygirls like me!  Whenever I wear my hair in it's naturally curly state, I may only get one or MAYBE two days of it looking smooth before the curls break apart too much.  Sometimes, a little spritz of water can help put them back together, but then you're introducing humidity which can induce frizz.  I've tried different products over the years to bring life back to 2nd or 3rd day curls, but I think I've found the best one yet, and it's time for a party!

Well, a party for my hair, anyway, with Royal Locks Party Curl Cocktail!  I reviewed Royal Locks Pro Curl Cream a while back, and it's still one of my very favorite curl creams - so I was pretty stoked to try this curl boosting spray from the same company.
This very thin cocktail uses a pump spray to mist it all over my curls.  It has argan oil and dimethicone which make my hair super shiny and bouncy again. I have a lot of hair, so I spray a generous amount all throughout my hair, and finger-comb it through.
The first time I used it, I gave it a super hard test!  My hair badly needed a wash, as I had washed it about a week before and dried it on big sponge rollers.  When I style my hair that way, it starts out as loose curls, and gets flatter as the week goes on.  It's so dull and clumpy in the 'before' picture.  Can you believe how it revived my week-old washed hair? It made my hair smell great, too.
The next test was on hair I had let dry naturally, and after a few days, the curls were all broken apart, tangled and looking like a rats' nest.  Again, I liberally sprayed the cocktail throughout my hair.
It looks better right away, but the real magic happens when the cocktail dries, so if you're using it to prep for a night out, I'd recommend spraying it before doing your makeup and getting dressed - the extra time it has to dry will mean fluffier, bouncier curls.

My Party Curl-inspired nailart! The base is Ulta Silver Bells and I painted the lines with a black striper.
With Royal Locks Party Curl Cocktail, I no longer have to wash my hair to get fresh curls!  For more information, or to purchase, you can find Royal Locks on their website, where the Party Curl Cocktail sells for $18.99.

How do you freshen your curls?
