Tri-polish Challenge - Dance Legend Funky Flakies

Hello, Fireflies!

Have you tried Dance Legend yet?  They are a brand out of Russia, and I really like them.  This is the second time I've actually ordered directly from them.  It takes about two months to get the package from here all the way here to Florida, but if you're going to place a large order, it's free shipping.  Sometimes, it's just worth the wait to be able to get whatever colors I want.

This is one of their new flakies, Hedgehog In The Fog, a pale blue cream with milky-white flakies.  It really reminds me of Illamasqua Raindrops.  I have Raindrops, so I probably didn't need this, but I love flakies, I love blue, and I loved the name.  Pathetic, I know!

Final Fantasy is another new flakie in a purple base.  I love the blue and purple and pink flashing together!

I decided to create some angles and shapes with the green.  It's Dance Legend #67.. and it has a name, but they sent me the Russian version, and it's in Cyrillic!  So, it's just 67 now - a dark green base with green iridescent glitter.

All of the formulas were great, and worked just fine for this nail art - no tape required, just a small nail art brush for the green lines.

Flakie goodness!

Would you order polish from another country, or just wait until it became available through a local stocklist?

    1. I'd bet their shipping would be lightening quick to get to you! It tested my patience to wait the two months for it to get here.

    1. Me, too! I wish I had the patience to do more geometric tape manis - I love the sharp lines. But this kind of freehand will do in a pinch!

    1. I think it's free with either a $90 or $100 order. The first time, I got together with a few friends and placed an order together. The second time, they had so many polishes, I didn't have a problem coming up with 10 I wanted! I had problem keeping it to 10. Llarowe also carries them if you just want to try them.

  7. I love the colors and the design. I'm not familiar with this brand! I have too little patience to wait two months for something lol.

    1. Llarowe carries the line, too, though I don't know if she has all of them. They are a little more per bottle, but the wait time is less. She also has free shipping in the US with $50, but with so many different brands, that's not usually a problem for me.

    1. thanks, Phyrra! It actually came about because I got a drop of the green polish on a nail, and I couldn't figure out how to remove it gracefully, so I just painted over it. and then I made a few more lines.. and then the design was born! lol

    1. They have a stunning array of polishes - their holos are what I was initially attracted to, but they have milky glitters, textures, multichromes, flakies - so many choices.
