Inspired by Art - Maybe I Will Dream (That I'm An Artist)

Hello, Fireflies!

Time for another 'Inspired by Art' challenge.  I found this piece on Deviant Art.  It's called, "Maybe I Will Dream Forever."  I loved the colors and the composition, and thought I would ruin it for everybody by doing a version on my nails!

I started out with Colors by Llarowe Precious Metal, a light grey with a surprising red shimmer.  I dig it.

I loved that the picture was mostly soft greys and fiery reds.  I used A-England Briarwood for the tree, and Julep Karmen and Pixie Polish Madame Le Steampunk for the leaves and bushes.

Even though my nails don't look like the picture, I think the colors are evocative of the original - which was my fave part of the photograph anyway!
